| Vintage 70's Dress Suit by Benson Landes Size Medium |

| Outstanding dress suit dating from the late 1970's by haute couture designer, Benson Landes. This suit is a rare find and a fabulous addition for any serious collector of vintage attire. There is an example of this designer's work in the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney, Australia. Other than that, I have yet to come across any clothing from this designer.
In brief, Benson Landes began his own label in 1956 but gave up fashion design in 1981 to concentrate his career on his art work and sculptures. You can learn more about Benson Landes here.
DRESS: Wide, square neckline with short sleeves. White top with horizontal stripes in different widths. There's a thin fabric tie belt that fastens with a hook at the back. Two inverted/slashed pockets with striped welts. Rear enclosed zip with hook faster. Fully lined.
JACKET: Single breasted with a rolled collar in navy blue with contrasting striped edge. There are four, bound button holes with navy blue buttons, each with a gold-tone centre. Fastens with a press-stud at the top. The cuffs are decorated with a striped trim and one button. The jacket is fully lined including sleeves.
This suit has been hand-finished to a very high standard. The fabric quality is superb. It's made from pure new wool and is incredibly lightweight and comfortable to wear. If you want to dress to impress, this chic designer suit is just the ticket. Perfect for weddings or the races and anywhere you need to look smart and sophisticated. A hat will look great with this suit.

Condition:
Very good/Excellent. There's a very small, faint mark to the front of the skirt and on the right sleeve of the jacket. Hardly noticeable and in no way detracting from the over all condition of this garment which is excellent.
Please note: When dry cleaning this garment, I recommend using a specialist cleaner; one used to dealing with quality, vintage fabrics of this nature.

| 1970's Summer Floral Dress and Jacket by Cache D'Or Size Small-Medium |

| Adorable vintage 70's summer dress with matching jacket by Cache D'Or. Both garments are finished to a very high standard inside and out. Cotton-rich, blue fabric with ditsy florals in peach and white which gives the fabric a distinct Forties feel. Just gorgeous! Peach-coloured piping detail all around the dress and jacket and the original tie belt is included.
The jacket has a standing collar and there are no fastenings at the front. Short sleeves with piping detail around the hems, yoke, cuffs and front plackets. There are soft gathers of fabric from the front and back yokes and two small side splits on the hem.
The dress has simple straps (non-adjustable) finished with piping. Slightly short-waisted (see bodice measurements below). Rear enclosed zip with hook fastener at the top. Small side pockets. Piping detail along the side seams and top of the bodice which has a pretty heart-shaped curve at the front. Labelled: CACHE D'OR Mansfield Originals Ltd.
